Hallo 1.3.0 - Text Messaging & More!!

Hallo everyone!

We’re excited to let you know that a new version of Hallo is now available in the App Store and Google Play.

What’s New?

Text Messaging: You told us that you loved voice messages, but still wanted to be able to use Hallo when you weren’t able to talk out loud (in a movie, library, meeting, etc). So we listened and added the ability for you to switch between voice and text in private conversations — whether with a single person or in a group!

Mute Group Notifications: Like us, you love having group conversations on Hallo, but may not want a notification every time a new group message arrives … especially for really active groups. So, you can now mute incoming new message notifications for individual groups.

Verified Badges: We’ve been fortunate to have some really cool people join Hallo (Steve Nash, Ryan Higa, Harry Shum, Wayne Brady and more!). Now you can be certain that it’s them because we’ve added verified badges to selected user profiles.

Hashtag Support (Android, iOS coming soon): Android users, you can now add hashtags to your World posts and click on any hashtag to view other World posts with that same hashtag. For our iOS users, you can add hashtags to your World posts as well, and the ability to view all posts for a specific hashtag is coming very soon for you too.
